Criminal Justice Reform

As Senator, David will sponsor legislation to:

Reduce prison overcrowding to address the financial burden to taxpayers.

Increase availability of expungement for non-violent, non-sexual offenders helping them rehabilitate and join the workforce after serving their sentence.

Allow judges to use pre-trial assessments to determine financial or non-financial bonds for low risk offenders to reduce the fiscal and physical burden on municipalities.
